An enigma called SREE HARSHA - 3 "Second year"

‘’First year of engineering has completed, now we are no more underdogs but scintillating sophomores’’ this idea has deep rooted in our minds.

The first day of second year in our college, to our surprise was very thrilling than the first day of first year. This time Deepu and Mani decided to relish the taste of back bench, as usual all of them were already reserved, but they managed to get the last but one bench. In our college bench means a table with two chairs, quite comfortable to chit-chat while class is going on. Studious Harsh and sreek decided to continue in the front seats. The pangs of partition pained Shivs as Sandy was placed in other section after shuffling according to roll numbers. The class started, front benchers -the eager beavers were very eager about the new subjects, books and all that stuff. The new lecturers applauded last year toppers, as Harsh is the topper last year, he stood at least seven times that first day, and we banged our hands every time he stood.

Deepu and Mani found the new hinterland of them very interesting, no need to listen to classes, no need to act as if they were really interested in the class (which we did last year). We felt like birds out of cage.

Later in the afternoon Harsh got a call from his papa, after attending the call he said that his papa got transferred to Anakapalli. Deepu, Mani, Harsh celebrated the transfer, as Harsh is also going to join the Ankapalli club.Mani started to go and come to college by train and became a great patron of Indian railways. Harsh and Deepu continued to come by college bus. Harsh and Mani used to go to Deepu’s house which geographically nearer to both their houses and used to discuss, chit-chat.
